Mothers day is right around the corner which means two things, I have to go buy a present now and we will be getting a lot of movies this weekend targeted for the motherly crowd. With Tully already out, Here are some other highlight movie openings this mothers day weekend.

Life of the Party

Life of the Party Stars Melissa McCarthy as Deanna Miles, a mom who life drastically changes when her husband divorces her. instead of being down she decided to use this opportunity to go back to school with her daughter and get the degree that she regretted not getting years ago. Not wanting to have any regrets Deanna lives her college life to the fullest partying and trying to find her true self. Melissa McCarthy is one of those actresses that we have started to see in a lot of movie doing the same thing over and over again. Hopefully, this movie will give us something fresh from her, but I highly doubt it.

Breaking In

           Directed by: James McTeigue Starring: Gabrielle Union, Ajiona Alexus, Billy Burke  Rotten Tomato Score: N/a

Breaking Inn Follows Gabrielle Union as Shaun Russel, a mother of three who ventures out to her dead father's Malibu mansion to settle the legal work for his estate. Once they arrive they, they discover that a group of criminals are after something that her father has been hiding and will do anything to get their hands on it. now with her kids being held hostage, Shaun becomes desperate and decided to fight back to get her kids back. On the surface, this movie looks like it will be a throwaway thriller designed to get mothers in the theater.

From giant robots, talking gnomes, and crazy stalkers looks like we have plenty of options to blaze and go see this weekend. This week we get films from plenty of different genres from action, horror/suspense, and kids film to go and enjoy. "Who took home the number one spot, and who need a session to get those numbers higher in this week's highs and downers" With three huge blockbusters in theaters at the same time, moviegoers had plenty of choices to blaze and go see this weekend. Solo: A Star Wars Story looked to shake up the top 5 in its opening weekend, but juggernauts Deadpool 2 and Infinity War were still out to prove that they have legs and aren't done raking in the money. Overboard - 14.7 Mil 3. A Quiet Place - 7.6 Mil 4. I Feel Pretty - 4.9 Mil 5.
