Highs

Avengers: Infinity War Still Strong  


Many people thought the Avengers were in trouble after Friday's number came in and it only made 31 mil, but Avengers: Infinity War proved it still has some staying power by only dropping 56% over the weekend making 112 mil in its second weekend far more than any other movie out right now.

Avengers also became the fastest movie to make 1 billion worldwide by doing so in only 11 days. I'm not sure how many more records it can break, but it sure looks like Avengers: Infinity War is on its way to the rare 2 billion dollar club.

Overboard Solid Debut 


Since Avengers is still in theaters, the number 2 spot isn't so bad to be in. Overboard manages to fall its way into the number 2 box office spot making 14 mil in its opening weekend which is not terrible for a remake that probably didn't cost too much to make. I personally thought the film was a lot better than I was expecting, so I am glad the film isnt a huge flop like the downer I have on this list.

Downers 

Bad Samaritan 


Bad Samaritans opened to some pretty bad results. Barely crossing the 1 million mark in its opening weekend, the movie seems to be a flop at the box office barely even making the top ten. With its poor marketing, pretty unknown cast, and the lackluster movie it's not surprising no one wanted to blaze and go see this film, I know I didn't.
