Image
"The biggest movies that might be worth your time blazing to see this weekend" This week we have a few different types of movies that are opening up for us to enjoy. We have an original feeling action movie, a romantic survival story, and a Jackass type comedy that will give us many options to blaze and go see this weekend. Here are the highlight movie opening that you should know about. Upgrade Directed by : Leigh Whannell  Starring : Logan Marshall-Green, Betty Gabriell  Rotten Tomato Score : 85% My highlight opening of this weekend goes to Upgrade. It follows Gery Trace after a near-death experience takes away his ability to move, and kills his family. He decides to undergo an experimental computer chip program that grants him the ability to walk again along with a bunch of new abilities that will allow him to take vengeance on the people who hurt him and took the life of his wife. This movie looks like a fun action movie that doesn't try to copy the

Adrift (2018)- Movie Review

Image
"An inspiring true story of a woman lost at sea being brought to the big screen, well the sea could have kept this story" Adrift is directed by Baltasar Kormakur and loosely follows the real-life survival story of Tami Oldham, played by Shailene Woodley, and her lover Richard Sharp, played by Sam Claflin,  as they try to survive while stranded at sea after being hit by a massive storm. It was inevitable that Hollywood would turn this interesting story of survival into a movie, but just cause her true story was interesting doesn't mean they could make a movie that would be the same.  Did Kormakur manage to turn Tami's story of survival at sea into a worth wild film, or should Hollywood have just left this idea adrift at sea? Well, that's what you got me for to tell you all the highs and all the downers that I got from this film and let you know whether this film is worth a hit or a pass that might just blow your movie-going high.  Highs  Visually Looks

All of this week's trailers rolled into one joint" Every week we get flooded with trailer, some good and some bad.  Its hard to keep up with all of them, so we thought we'd help you out by at least letting you see the ones worth watching. "Who took home the number one spot, and who need a session to get those numbers higher in this week's highs and downers" With three huge blockbusters in theaters at the same time, moviegoers had plenty of choices to blaze and go see this weekend. Solo: A Star Wars Story looked to shake up the top 5 in its opening weekend, but juggernauts Deadpool 2 and Infinity War were still out to prove that they have legs and aren't done raking in the money. Which movie took home the rights to become the number one movie in America, and which movies need something stronger to get those numbers higher. Let's find out as I tell you all the highs and all the downers of this weekends biggest box office news. Box Office Top 5 1. Solo: A Star Wars Story - 83.3 Mil 2. Deadpool 2 - 42.7 Mil 3. Avengers: Infinity War - 16.4 Mil 4. Book Club - 9.4 Mil 5. Life of the Party- 5.1 Mil (For full results visit Box office mojo ) Highs Solo Takes #1  With over 83 mil

Solo: A Star Wars Story- Movie Review (Spoiler Free)

Image
"Stars Wars just keeps printing money for Disney, guess that why they decided to make this Solo movie that not many fans wanted" Solo: A Star Wars Story is directed by Ron Howard and stars Alden  Ehrenreich  as the new younger Han Solo, as he joins a group of smugglers that lead him on a few familiar mission we have heard about in other movies, as he tries to become the man we all have come to know and love. The movie was originally going to be directed by the team of Chris Miller and Phil Lord but lost the job because the higher-ups didn't quite like where they were going with the movie. Along with the director change, the movie had other hiccups including having to bring in acting coaches for Ehrenreich and a lot of reshoots that kinda made this movie seem like a pass. With all this bad press the fans were starting to lose faith in the movie before they even saw it, but it is a Star Wars movie so there is always a new hope, Get it haha, Nevermind. I am not one of

Highlight Movie Openings (May 25)

"Should be easy to pick a Highlight Opening this week since there's only one movie opening" Normally we get at least two movies that come out, but I guess this weekend most studios thought it would be best just to let Disney have its weekend again (similar to when Avengers: Infinity War came out). So since we won't have a lot of choices, let hope this one is worth blazing to see. Solo: A Star Wars Story Directed by: Ron Howard Starring: Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke Tomatoes Score:   71% Solo is the latest Star Wars spin following the origins of one of the most famous character in Star Wars lure, Han Solo. The movie will follow a young Solo and his group of smugglers that include Chewbacca and Lando, as they embark on some familiar adventures that Star Wars fans have only heard about. Not many people were clamoring for a Solo movie( me included), and with all the drama coming out of the production, not a lot of people had hope that it

Cargo (2018) - Netflix Movie Review

Image
"Netflix decided they might as well try their luck in the zombie movie franchise, and it might have worked" Cargo is the newest Netflix original movie directed by Ben Howling and Yolanda Ramke and stars Martin Freeman as a man who is trying to survive a zombie apocalypse, until one day he is bitten and now has 48 hours to find a safe place for his young daughter before he turns into a zombie himself. The film takes an interesting and personal approach to the zombie apocalypse not really focusing on the zombies, but on martin freeman's character and his quest to find a safe place for his daughter. The premise sounds interesting enough, but could these directors make a fresh post-apocalyptic movie, or is this just another generic zombie movie that we will forget about? Well, let's see as I will give you all the highs and all the downers and overall tell you whether or not this movie is worth blazing and turning on Netflix for. Highs  Entertaining "Zombie&

Here are 5 of the latest most talked about trailers that dropped this past week all rolled up into one joint. The Happy Time Murders  Release Date: August 17,2018 The Happy Time Murders stars Melissa McCarthy as a police officer who is tasked to solve a string of puppet murders, who are basically a second class race. Although this movie features puppets it is definitely not something you want to take your kids to see. I didn't really have much interest in this movie until I saw this trailer and couldnt stop laughing. it is just, the first trailer, but if this is what we can expect I think ill have a good time getting blazed and going to see this movie.  Mowgli  Release: October 19, 2018 No, I'

"Who took home the number one spot, and who need a session to get those numbers higher in this week's highs and downers" Avengers: Infinity War has been on a rampage the last couple of weeks, breaking pretty much every box office record and making it look easy. The movie is great but we all know a huge reason for its dominance was that there has been no competition at the box office, well until now. Deadpool 2 has finally arrived and has its eyes set on the number one box office spot, but would its R rating stop it from beating the Avengers, or hell maybe another movie opening this week could have shocked us all (likely not). So let's take a look at the highs and the downers of the box office results from this weekend.  Top 5 Box Office Results  1. Deadpool 2 - 125 Mil 2. Avengers: Infinity War- 28.6 Mil   3. Book Club -  12.5 Mil 4. Life of the Party - 7.7 Mil 5. Breaking In - 6.4 Mil (for full results visit Box Office Mojo ) Highs   Deadpoo

Deadpool 2 Review - Spoiler Session

Image
"Spoilers Ahead" Deadpool 2 is by far one of my favorite movies of the year so far sitting right up there with Infinity War and A Quiet Place. There were so many great moments and now that the movie has been out for a little while we can talk about all the juicy bits we saw. So if you didn't notice the title, this is a spoiler session where I will talk about the highlights of the film and not give a shit about spoilers. So if you haven't seen the film you can check out my spoiler-free review by clicking here , and then come back once you've seen the film, unless you just don't care. So with that out of the way, let's get to some spoilery shit. Highlights of the Film (Spoilers)  The Many Cameos  With any superhero film, you can expect there to be one or two cameos that happen, normally the infamous stan lee cameo. Although we didn't get the traditional stan lee cameo and had to settle for a brief glimpse of him on a painting that domino passe

Show Dogs (2018) - Movie Review

Image
"A movie about a dog that's a cop and his partner, Well that sounds fun, Not" Show Dogs. Okay, let's get this out the way this movie is not very good and I think we all knew this.  It's directed by Raja Gosnell who is the same man that brought us such classics like Home Alone 3 (shittest of the 3), The live-action Scooby-Doo franchise (Shit) and the Smurfs movie (Ultra Shit) so we kinda knew where this movie was gonna go.  It Stars Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges and Will Arnett (who both clearly just wanted a check) as a dog, Max, and his Human Partner, Frank, respectively as a  team who are on the case of a messing panda that forces them to go undercover in the national dog show to crack the case. Just by the synopsis alone, you can tell that this movie probably won't be that interesting,  but just how bad could it be? I'm gonna tell you all highs, and all the Downer that made this movie bad and let you know whether or not this is the wor

Deadpool 2 - Movie Review (Spoiler Free)

"The Shit talking, Gun slinging, forth wall breaking Deadpool is back for the sequel and this time he is bringing along the X-force with him, I should have worn my white pants" Deadpool 2 directed by David Leitch and of course stars Ryan Reynolds as the merc with the mouth himself, Deadpool, as he tries to become a better man by protecting a young mutant from Cable, a mutant from the future who is out to kill the kid. Deadpool realizes that cable might be too tough to take on alone and decided to create a super team of his own in order to kick some ass and save the day. I am a huge fan of the Deadpool character and absolutely loved the first film, so I was more than ready to spark up and see this film. The first one was a huge success, but could this one live of to the massive hype the first one created or was the first one just a once in a lifetime movie that can't be captured again? Well, that's why I am here to tell you all the highs, all the downers, and eve
